North Carolina & South Carolina could have the possibility to see a major winter weather event this weekend. The setup for this system is very complex and the totals discussed in this article are subject to change. The snow in some areas of the Carolina’s could vary by a couple inches in less than a 10 mile range. Below we have posted our snowfall totals forecast belowshowing the predicted snowfall for North and South Carolina. With that being said the storm is expected to move into western NC & SC Thursday night around midnight. Snow will begin to push into the mid Carolina’s by 4 a.m. and into the eastern part of the state by 8-10 a.m. Friday. The snow will continue for many areas of the Carolina’s until late Saturday night though there will be periods when the snow starts and stops.
