Severe weather will return to the Central US this week on Monday and Tuesday bringing a chance mainly damaging winds and hail with the chance for some tornadoes as well. On Monday the severe weather threat will be centered over central Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas, while on Tuesday the threat will shift more to eastern Texas and Oklahoma into western Louisiana and Arkansas. The highest risk category for both days is a “Slight Risk”, which means that wind and hail damage is possible in these storms, but the tornado risk will be minimal.
