A Winter Storm Watch has been issued by the National Weather Service for areas of the Carolina’s, Georgia, Virginia, West Virginia and Maryland. Conditions will be possible for a winter storm to impact these areas going into Sunday night and into Monday before switching to rain on Tuesday. This system will likely impact multiple areas throughout the northeastern US. Some areas will see decent snowfall totals with areas of the Carolina’s and Virginia to be impacted by some freezing rain and ice as well.
