Severe WX Warn introduced a new website on Monday January 25, 2015. The site will be an upgrade to our system, servers and will be more user friendly to better serve our growing customer base. We had over 1.2 million visitors last year and we are on track for 7-10 million viewers in 2016. This new site allows us to get forecasts and articles out in half the time and will also allow our capicity to make sure that our site doesn’t get bogged down during major severe weather outages. We saw a record month in January with the site already having over 1.3 million visitors since January 1st and the month still isn’t over. There will be a brief period of downtime on Monday and Tuesday and we will be making a few adjustments to the site over the next few weeks as we continue to progress and add new features for our users.
