The severe weather and tornado threat moves west today after a busy day of severe weather in Eastern North Carolina yesterday with reports there of a couple tornadoes touching down as well as severe hail and damaging winds. We saw videos and photos yesterday of funnel clouds, possible tornadoes and a home completely destroyed. Today the focus moves to Western Texas and Eastern New Mexico. The focus of Saturday’s storms will be in Texas, Kansas and Oklahoma. The focus Sunday will be a much broader area in the central US with the biggest threat once again being in Texas, but with Sunday’s threat being in Southeastern Texas.
