Severe weather will be likely tomorrow for the Southeastern US with the possibility of damaging winds, severe hail and some tornadoes. The SPC has issued it’s outlooks for tomorrow and has an “Enhanced” risk for parts of North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida. It has issued a “Slight” risk for a more broad area of the Carolina’s, Georgia, Florida and Alabama. An Enhanced Risk means that numerous severe storms will be possible with some life threatening storms with significant damage possible. An enhanced risk typically means that a few tornadoes will be possible with hail greater than 2″ in diameter possible. A slight risk means that scattered severe storms will be possible with 1 or 2 tornadoes and hail greater than 1″ in diameter will be possible.

Severe thunderstorms, accompanied by a risk for potentially damaging
wind gusts and a few tornadoes, are possible across parts of the
Southeast Sunday into Sunday night.
