Hurricane Irma is now a major hurricane with winds of 115 mph and the storm is expected to strengthen for the foreseeable future. Irma is expected to strengthen over the coming days to at least a category 4 storm with winds on Wednesday predicted to be near 140 mph. The current 5 day track of Irma will put it dangerously close to the Southeastern US and should be closely monitored by anyone on the east coast of the United States. Irma will be near the Caribbean Islands on Wednesday this week and by Friday it will be approaching the Bahamas.
