An area of low pressure known as 96L, which is just off the coast of Africa has been given a 40% chance of developing into a tropical system in the next 5 days and a 30% chance of development within the next 2 days. Looking at the models this system will likely at least become a tropical storm within the next week or so. It’s way to early to know when or if this system will affect land, but we will continually monitor this system and bring you daily updates on this system and future tropical systems.
